Self Catering Holiday Cottages in Pembrokeshire, Wales
Spend a relaxing time unwinding in the peace and tranquillity of Pembrokeshire’s countryside! We are located in Walwyn’s Castle, centrally situated in Pembrokeshire, South West Wales. A parish of scattered farms, rural landscape and peaceful tranquility central to many aspects of Pembrokeshire, our self catering cottages are located approximately 6 miles from Haverfordwest and Milford Haven.
Sandy coastal beaches are 10 to 40 minutes by car, Little Haven, Broad Haven, Newgale, Marloes, Dale, Barafundle, Manobier and Freshwater East to name a few. Water activity centres in areas such as Dale, Neyland Marina and on the waterway at Burton and long reaches of the Cleddau Estuary.
A variety of restaurants and pubs, supermarkets and general shopping can be found in nearby towns usually within 10 mins from the cottages by car. Places of historical interest such as Pembroke Castle, and St. David’s are within a 30 mins radius, with information available through leaflets at the cottages.
Pembrokeshire’s coastal national park is on our doorstep and is unique in its own right, with coves and inlets displaying the rugged beauty of this beautiful coastline. We are ideally situated for walking, cycling and bird-watching holidays with the Pembrokeshire National Park only 25 mins walk away.
Accommodation Details
The Cottages
The accommodation at Firstone consists of six comfortable self-catering units, fully equipped for your holiday needs. Facilities such as a microwave, a sandwich maker, electric oven and gas hob are in place. Crockery, cutlery and glassware, pots and pans etc are there for your use.
Each cottage has 2 bedrooms with a double bed and a twin situation. The cottage is all on one level throughout and has adequate living space for 4-5 people. Bed arrangements need to be discussed at time of booking eg. bunks, twin beds, cot, fold-up bed or specific requirements for the number of guests. Cots and highchairs to be requested at time of booking. All linen is supplied for beds, tea towels and oven cloth in kitchen. Bath towels can be available free of charge, on request.
Each cottage has an open plan kitchen, dining area with a comfortable lounge. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and is adjacent to the bedrooms. The cottages are all centrally heated for your comfort at no extra cost.
TV, DVD and video players are provided with a selection of DVD’s and videos available at main house.
Outdoor furniture and parasol are provided in private patio area to front of cottages. (Seasonal only) BBQ’s are also available free of charge. Please provide your own charcoal.
All cottages are NON-SMOKING.
We are sorry but NO PETS.
Laundry Facility
We have a separate laundry for your convenience. These washing machines are not coin operated but we ask a small fee of £2 per load both for the washing machines and driers. A deep freeze and vacuum cleaner are also available. There is a rotary clothes line behind each cottage.
Outside Facilities
Car parking is adjacent to the cottages on the same level for ease of access. There are safe lawned play areas surrounding the cottages. Tennis for all ages (half court tennis if preferred) can be on your agenda at the rear of the complex. All equipment available on site. We have an all weather games room for your enjoyment. Equipped with table-tennis, pool table and football game table with a varied collection of books and games.

After a long journey its time to settle in and relax! Before arrival please notify me should you wish your shopping done for you. There is a small fee of £5. Let us know if we can help.
